Yes, for video in daylight there is still no way around it. But you have a lot more headroom, so you do not need to change as often as with the fixed aperture drones.

Thanks so much, ton of information but all made sense.

My MA2 has fixed aperture of f/2.8, so in HDR mode the ISO and Shutter Speed are "dancing in concert" as the light changes. Crazy numbers I would probably never use manually.
