Fall Colors

Been looking, but far and few in between, how bout where you are, anything happening? Not expecting pics here just wondering when or if any colors are due in your area.

Over here in the UK we haven't hit the motherload of Autumnal colour yet - it's all rather hanging on to the green.
I'm gonna go check again over the weekend with any luck...

Depending on where you live, I suspect to see the fall colors soon!

Fall colors here are best between October 20 and Nov 10.
Nov 10 I leave the country and don't expect things to be the same when I return a week later. There's usually a good wind that comes through during that week and blows all the leaves down.

You know that's what tends to happen here as well, bout the time the leaves are due to change we get heavy winds that blows the leafs away. This year I plan to try and get a few good shots before that happens. Hopefully.

All taken today I have a lot but most files are to lrg so I'll have to resize if I wantt to post them

From 2020 and 2022, these are views above I-90. The 2020 drove view was in Montana, about 30 miles east of the Idaho border. In 2022 (simply too early) was further west in Idaho. I am told "after October 13" this year would be best.

Just as well; was horrendous wind above treeline up there today - it would have been bye bye to the M4P if I'd done that !

Windy as **** today here too. We took a ride today to check it out and I noticed the yellow tint showing in the leaves here in there. Amazing you're in the U.K. and yet similar pattern is playing out here in this time frame. Not there yet and losing leaves.

Too early for most of PA. Another week or two will make the difference if the weather cooperates.
