As you've seen the higher current is mostly pointless since it quickly starts reducing anyway. Probably casues more extra wear to the battery during that phase than saves you time...

Does anyone know if you could use this charger with the dji 4way std charge adapter on one of the charger leads and put two batteries on it for a charge on 4 batteries

sure, but the DJI hub will just charge one of those batteries at a time same as always. for that matter, theoretically you could put a hub on every lead and charge 12 batteries 'at the same time'.
