Updated "blue" charger and my thoughts

Just got the updated "blue" charger that has the voltage/amperage screen. First thing I did was check to make sure it was grounded (main concern). Indeed it was, verified with a multimeter. I like the fact that the dongles can be unplugged so it can be stuffed into foam easier. My other concern was leaving it on over night. I haven't tested it to see how long it takes to charge the batteries but all the other reviews on the older version are approximately an hour. So I found this timer which is easy enough to set to 2 hours and will give me piece of mind knowing my house won't burn down.

I bought both parts on Amazon for just under $50.

I like the improvements to this .. I almost purchased the original version last week as a Christmas present to myself but ran out of time and forgot to go back and order it ....

I am glad I didn't now I'll just order this version.

Too slow (sequential); doesn't work on modified sine wave; no physical support for batteries - requires flat surface.

Was sat in A&E (I was only providing transport for someone) using phone ... didn't notice that.
Agreed, tho! Rather put that much toward a new battery.

The battery connections on the new one are removable so it will fit better in my case

Your link is for the old version without the meters and detachable connections. Fine if that's what you want, but this thread is about the improved model.
