Have regained ability to return to flying after a year away.
Just passed FAA 107 and getting equipment back up.
Batteries charged up fine - M2P turns on fine and interfaces with Smart Controller fine and looks like before. All appears to be just like I left it last year.
Before going outside putting on props and doing an initial start up:
Are there updates and should they be installed for:
DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic
Smart Controller
Original Controller
M2P

Although there's nothing wrong with new FW, the increased transmission distance remains as an impossible to confirm assumption due to battery limit. Improved transmission strength may, however, increase the reliability of radio communication in challenging environments.
