Just got my M4P but after seeing some things in this forum and others about obstacle avoidance issues, curious if I should actually upgrade before 0300 comes out?

Mine is updated. Do wait for others' responses however I've not experienced any issues.

After the update, the problems of false obstacles have increased. I wrote to DJI who replied in this way:
note They have increased so much that I had to return the product because it was defective (unusable)

"
Hi , please try the below troubleshooting steps which may be helpful to resolves the issue.

1. We recommend that you first update your aircraft to firmware version v01.00.0100, which can resolve some known false obstacle avoidance alerts.

2. If the false obstacle avoidance scenario is known to be unfixable, you are advised to avoid such scenarios.

3. If you fly the aircraft at high altitude immediately after purchase, false obstacle avoidance alerts may occur:1) Refer to template 2;2) It is recommended that you perform low-altitude flights for 1–3 minutes in an open area after takeoff to trigger self-calibration.3) After performing this procedure, subsequent flights should experience fewer false obstacle avoidance alerts;"

But the 100 has a big problem, during the ignition phase the drone vibrates like never before, because the speed of the propellers is low, this can damage the drone and scratch the support feet.

In any case, it's not a problem of 200. I tried to downgrade from 200 to 100 and nothing changed.

I think it's really a defect problem with the sensors and for me there is no solution.

It would be useful to look "inside" to understand if between a series with the defect and one without there are different sensors or components, but without a large "sold" base, for example the American one (which by now I understand will never see a mavic 4 pro with volumes) we will never know.
