Firware update keeps failing

I had the exact same problem and searched around for a solution. It ended up being as simple as formatting the SD card from the DJI Go app before trying to upgrade the firmware!

Just wanted to post this in case anyone else is struggling as much as I was.

I was stuck on .300 firmware in the Mavic, Remote Upgraded without problems every time... I now put in the Original SD Card that came with the mavic, formatted it and upgraded to .900 with Assistant 2 and now it worked on the first go.

Hi, I just had the same issue, Update was failing.
Uninstalled the DJI assistant tand installed the latest version. 2.1.1.6
First updated the RC, then the mavic, and it worked.
After that, I even calibrated the IMU

I just got my new Mavic 2 Pro & was trying to update the firmware. Having all kinds of Network Error problems while using DJI Assistant 2 on a Mac Laptop.

Finally found a video that explained what was probably happening. The Drone & computer wifi signals were interfering with each other.

I separated the two as far as the cable allowed. It was better, but still no go.

I moved the whole she-bang very close to my wifi router & so far, everything has worked flawlessly.

Hope this helps, as I was VERY frustrated until I found out the issue.
