Think I may have found the answer. Looking on my other computer, the colour resolution is much better and I can see the green line stops at about 0 and the blue line continues to -5 ... ?

I've noticed my M2 quickly loses account of altitude. It will indicate itself lower than it really is. VPS height is solid.

The blue trace is the IMU altitude, based on barometric pressure. A drift of a couple of meters over the course of the flight is not unusual.
