Flight recorder – GPS data transmitted to phone/controller?

I hope someone can help me with that question.

Let’s say the Air get's lost and I want to find it again, is the flight recorder data only stored on drone? I mean, is there a way to access that having lost the drone?

Do I need to use another app to record the GPS data of the flight?

You can find GPS data in the TXT flight log on your mobile device. If needed, you can find instructions for locating that file here.

GO4 has a "lost my drone" feature that guides you to the last known location, that may be enough in some scenarios.
