These crowdfunding projects get pushed back almost all the time. I have participated in over a hundred of them and I don’t think even 1 was shipped on time. They kinda only have 1 great shot at getting it right. A lot of other devices that come to market, we don’t get as much information about the week to week process. I’m glad they keep us in the loop but it just makes you want to get your hands on it even more. From what I have seen in all the projects I have been part of, this one has been one of the best at keeping us updated. Going to CES and doing interviews with different news or hobby magazines is something most other creators DONT do. I jumped in super early on this one because I thought the concept was a awesome idea and the crowdfunding price was way to good to pass up. I’m very excited about the release of this project it could change the way we fly our hobby aircraft.

Anyone have one yet?
I bought the FT Aviator during the KS launch and never really used it. Almost forgot that I had it. Now, some time later, I went to look for the app in the App Store and Google Play, but quickly discovered that it wasn’t available. I went to the website, it’s shut down, no message about status, name not even registered. I’d love to get the app that would allow me to use the controller. Does anyone know how to get ahold of it to use the controller at all?I'm new to the forum, but I meant to post yesterday as we launched on Kickstarter. Our FT Aviator substantially reduces pilot workload by putting the primary flight controls in one hand. We can teach ourselves to become reasonably proficient with a two-thumbed gaming controller - they've been around since the 1930s according to my research - but it requires a lot more iteration, because you will sometimes under- or overshoot your input, or make an accidental input in another degree of freedom (you get a bit of yaw as you move up, for example). Our controller gives tactile feedback not just when you're inputting a command, but you also have a sense when you're not, which can be every bit as important. The amazing thing about the FT Aviator is putting it in the hands of a first time drone pilot, and then watching them do a perfect Figure 8 or inward-facing, ascending spiral within 5 minutes of a brief introduction. There are many other cool features incorporated into our controller to provide situational awareness cues, improve safety and substantially improve upon the camera control features of a typical radio. I'm happy to answer other questions, but suggest you check out our campaign at: FT Aviator: A Revolutionary Single-Handed Drone Controller
As a carrot, the first 500 backers will get 50% off.
