I got an iPhone 5C, will give it a try. If it doesn't work, should I contact DJI?

I was able to get proper signal with an AT&T iPhone 6 (regular size). So I tried with the iPhone 6 and I wasn't able to activate the follow me mode or set home using this device. Should we conclude the issue is related to the Mavic firmware?
Don't, they are wrong. It's not the Mavic. (Well not the hardware, I promise).Just spoke to the support and they told me I should send the mavic for repair...
What are the iOS releases on the various phones and tabs? I am beginning to think it's an iOS thing.Wow
I used a 6S plus with no problem along with numerous iPad minis and even a acer tablet but my 7+ does not work
Then it must be something with the network. Your up to date on all your firmware too? So truly bizarre.Mine were all up to date as of use and test.
Sorry. You could have been blissfully unaware because so far it's been almost 2 months and I won't fly without the ability to set a point at the RC. Ugh.I have a iPhone 7+, Verizon and a few months back my follow me mode worked just fine. I have not tried it in awhile until this past weekend and it would not work. Weak GPS signal kept coming up. I thought that was weird because it worked just fine before. I didn't know it was an issue until I saw this post. Hopefully they will fix this soon.
So, what you're saying is... "It's NOT the transmitter, dummy?"Don't, they are wrong. It's not the Mavic. (Well not the hardware, I promise).
Ha, I suppose I am saying that. Still don't know though. It's still doing the same. It's amazing. So, what you're saying is... "It's NOT the transmitter, dummy?"
Wait, so it wasn't working before (setting dynamic home points and "follow me") and now it is?I gave it another try and I was surprised that, for the very first time, I was able to activate the feature. The GPS signal was constantly switching between strong and weak. I was able to activate the function but it did not work (the mavic did not follow me). Also, I wasn't able to set my position as a new home point.
So not sure to understand what's going on...
