That's what the manual tells you to use...and all updates etc will only appear in the GO 4 app.

DJI has only been adding new Mavic features to DJI GO 4. If you use DJI GO, you won't be able to use those new features.

You'll need to get a long cable then. You can connect your phone to the bottom USB port. Just make sure you remove the cable from the left side of the remote controller before doing that. The 6" UGREEN cable might be a good option for you.

was on Dji Go 4 but video sa so laggy on both my Samsung S4 and Tab A which never had a lag when I still had my P4, switched to Dji Go and now very smooth. I hope Dji releases an update for android soon
