FPV with vr viewer: Iphone 7/6s or samsung s7/s7

I am thinking to get a dedicated device for fpv to use with my homido v2. I have an iphone 6s and i have to say that i am quite disappointed with the quality of the image, waaaay too pixelated to give an immersive experience. Never tried a 7 or the samsungs. Anybody had the possibility to compare? Do the samsung perform seriously better?

I have a bobovr2 and iPhone 6s Plus. The phone is too big and you don't get to see the whole screen, on top of that it is also quite pixilated.
Probably need to just check out how many Pixels per inch the other devices have and compare. The more pixels the clearer the image will become.

I made some research and looks like the samsungs and the xperia z5 (this last one the best) have much more ppi. But i wonder if they are enough to give a really good image or still far away from quality.
