I've tried about 5 times now to update for the new visions software and stuff. keeps telling me download failed. Network connection required. Well I'm plugged into the network. it tells me I'm connected to it, but it keeps failing . I know its me but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm not over heating either. the drone is on as is the controller .

I had the same problem with my M4P firmware updates when using the Controller. Only way I could get the updates to work was using DJI ASSISTANT 2 (CONSUMER DRONE SERIES) software application available on the DJI.com website using this link:

Good luck!

I was able to update via the controller by making sure that I had connected the controller to the network using my iPhone’s hotspot. Both controller and Mini 4 Pro updated.

I have the RC N2 controller and always do the updates through the Fly app, never had an issue downloading the firmware using cellular data from my smartphone

Same here (with RC-N2).

Previous posters have given that magic sauce. Use assistant 2 and do the update from a workstation.

That has worked for me 98% of the time. The remaining 2% I had to switch out the usb wire, or update Assistant 2 and restart the host.
