Frustrated

Rant Warning.....
I live in the Atlanta Georgia area and got my Mavic in February.
I've had neighbors cuss me out (called a ******* pervert because my drone drifted a little bit over someone's front yard) and now the police just ran me out of Stone Mountain park.
I was in a parking lot near the golf course and was in the air for 2min. Look over to my right and a police car is pulling up. Knew where this was headed so I landed. The cop was cool... he just told me no drones in Stone Mountain park. Also mentioned that my Mavic was a really cool drone.

Think I need to sell my drone and collect stamps...

Yea but when you start collecting stamps and post the videos the stamp police will be ranting about your hobby....

Yep Stone Mountain is a no drone zone.

There are a million places to fly in Atlanta, I go to Shorty Howell Park on Pleasant Hill Rd in Duluth and have had around 300 flights there with no problems. I have around 100 flights in other places, but I always make sure to check before I bring the Mavic as to whether they are drone friendly.

Marietta is close to Dobbins airspace, Town Center is near McCollums airspace, but if you go further west near Powder Springs, you should be good.
