GEO Zones

Hello, I'm brand new to flying and have taken my drone out 3 or 4 times. What I would like to do is go out my front door and be able to launch; however, I'm right on the edge of an authorization zone due to an airport. The airport is at least a mile and a half away, but my house is still in the blue "X" figure from the airport. It is a small regional airport. I have read and understand the green, yellow, and red zones, but my question is what is the difference between those zones and a blue zone? Can I do an immediate authorization, or do I have to have specific approval with forms sent and the 72 hour waiting from DJI for approval? Or is it a permanent NFZ?

Go see the guys at the airport and talk with them first. Then deal with the DJI issue.

the little ones are not as stable as the big ones.

i also fly this one in doors. when you fly in outside in wind, you have to control it.
