Hey folks, if anyone has any advice please? I have a mini 2, bought as demo from DJI (my second mini 2) which, since purchasw has not been able to calibrate its' gimbal properly. Ive tried auto calibration on the ground several times now, says its complete and when im in the air the photos look like this.. the horizon is not flat! Ive tried FOV and follow modes, and i usually have to resort to recalibration manually whilst flying, which does sort of work. One thing I've noticed is that when you hod the drone in your hand and tilt it, the gimbal motor makes a little noise when its adjusting like its under some stress. Thoughts appreciated? Thanks in advance, Claire

Oky so after about 2.5 hours, with good solid installs of all the required software, restarts, windows updates, driver trouble shooting, talking to DJI to troubleshoot why Assistant 2 is'nt recognising the drone; this is my result with the first piece of code:

[MY CODE] C:\DJI>py comm_og_service_tool.py --port com3 WM160 GimbalCalib JointCoarse

[RETURN ERROR MESSAGE] Error: could not open port 'com3': PermissionError(13, 'Access is denied.', None, 5)

Why on earth would the access be denied?

*Sighs

Is there something else on COM3. Have you turned on the drone?
Check using Computer manager. Righthand click on ThisPC and select Manage.

I have nothing currently in my ports. It shows COM1.

You might want to use the tool I have written and also take a look at the video below, it tells you how to get DJI specific firmware and use that for a full calibration

Im based in the UK if you are and need any help

Helo - im not actually getting an error code for the drone. When i auto and/ or manually calibrate using the drone itself, it tells me that it is successful. I can see the issue in flight with the horizon not being horizontal (when it should be). Thanks, Claire (not in the UK!)

Hello Fizzbang, so the last effort shows me this in device manager:

Im still getting this message when i click :

The drone is switched ON. The drone IS recognised on the PC in windows as it shows up here:

So now its' decided to be Com3, last time it was showing Com4 (?)

Not sure how to proceed? Thanks in advance, Claire

Seems you need to install the DJI drivers for the quad, google dji mini 2 software and download the relevant program this will clear the yellow exclamation mark from the com port
