New Mavic zoom owner in CA here. any tips or advice you could give me would be appreciated.

Yes, go to youtube and type in Mavic 2 Zoom and watch a few videos on how to setup your new AC correctly. Then watch a few vids on flying tips and safety features of your new drone. Then when you are comfortable with that watch a few vids on how to use the more advanced flight and camera features.

These are very complex tools but they are simple to start out with if you use the correct flight modes and safety features.

Try not to go straight into Sports Mode, its not worth the risk and think about getting proper drone insurance, it will make you feel a lot better lol.
