Has anyone used the GPC Mavic 2 backpack?

Here's a link to it

DJI Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom Backpack - Limited Edition Black | GPC, Inc.

I'm planning on doing some serious hiking with my M2P this year and am considering getting this bag due to the water-jet cut slots for the drone and gear, and the fact that it's made in a 5.11 RUSH 12 backpack which has MOLLE straps for modular packs for all kinds of applications.

Just wondering if anyone has used it. It seems hard to find reviews for it.

I have the same pack for the MP1. The cutout for the RC was a bit too big and allowed it to fall out, so I added a Velcro strap to keep the RC in. All the other cutouts were snug to tight. My Mavmount and I-Pad fit in the outside pocket. So as a pack to hold and carry the aircraft and all accessories (except a landing pad) I have no problems with it. It's light and comfortable loaded with all the flying gear.

As a combined Mavic/hiking pack, I'm unimpressed. There is no extra room to carry anything but small pocket items. External pouches and/or straps are necessary to carry safety and convenience gear for a real day of hiking. There is a slot and pouch for a water bladder (not included), but it's right between the straps and the bladder would be pressing against your back. I don't have any bladders small enough to fit the pouch and don't plan on buying one. There's no waist strap and the sternum strap is in the wrong place. The zippers for the main compartment do not go all the way to the bottom. In the picture of the loaded pack, note that the two lower batteries are partially blocked by the pack flap. On my MP1 pack, at the bottom of the interior there is one slot for the charger and cords (which I don't put there) and one for the charging hub. The pack flap blocks the charger slot and interferes with the hub slot.

I have the backpack the M2Pro as well as the hard case for the M2Pro both from GPC and can not be happier with any product!! The cutouts are precise and hold all that anyone would want to have along on a mission. The backpack is great for hikes and traveling when you need all your kit. The hard case is great for ATV or rafting and will be put to use on a Colorado River raft trip in September.

I had one for my Phantom 4 as well (the backpack from GPC) and loved it - although my P4 took a dip in a river the backpack now lives with a very happy friend.

The backpacks are 5.11 products are a bulletproof (not really but you know what I mean) the M2 is a Rush 12 and the Phantom is a Rush 72. Both are awesome and I heartily recommend GPC products to anyone with expensive equipment that needs to be protected.

I have the backpack as well. The cutouts are snug and there are velcro straps for the aircraft itself. Cables, chargers, filters, batteries, iPad, Mavmount all fit in various compartments.

I did get molle attachments as well so I can take my digital camera (not a DSLR but very good point and shoot) in a pouch. Prop guards, landing pad and flashlight are held by other molle attachments.

I like having my hands free when I walk to my flight deck. The backpack is easily stored at carry on for airplane trips.

I had a GPC/5.11 bag for two of my Phantoms and my Mavic 1 Pro. Loved it for my Phantom but felt that there wasn't enough storage space in the Mavic's bag to accommodate other stuff I want to bring out in the field due to the bag itself being obviously smaller. Ended up adding a few 5.11 6x6 Padded Pouches using the molle attachments.

I just (like 10 minutes ago) ordered the Mavic 2 Pro and this time opted to go with the GPC hardcase in addition to the GoScope Go Cases for when I want to travel light. I like the clamshell type cases like the GoScopes because then I can use my own bag, whichever size is needed for the day..

GPC makes a quality product, this hard case will be my 4th purchase from them and certainly not the last.
