Is there any data available about the characteristics of the Mavic GPS receiver?

Does it use SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS)?

How many GPS channels? How many GLONASS channels?

I would look at the datasheet for the u-blox NEO-7 chipset.

Thanks! Do you know for a fact that the Mavic uses that chipset? In the teardowns I don't see a chip enclosure that looks like the u-blox brochure version. But various posts around the web tend to confirm it (that's what's in Phantoms too).

If so, it's good news as it does have SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS) which would significantly improve accuracy in Europe, North America and Japan. Indeed for Japan the QZSS is also processed. Also, received GPS/GLONASS that are received are validated by SBAS.

Indeed, in European coverage EGNOS also has correction/validation data for GLONASS.
