Had another mishap, where I let the Mavic drift up into some tree branches and, down it went, falling 3 meters into the ground.

The little fella was OK (...boy, these Mavics are tough...), just had to swap 2 propellers but the gimbal can't take this kind of abuse.

From there on it would jitter intermittently in flight with an excessive vibration message and I could see the gimbal base had been displaced.

So, I sent the unit to DJI NL, they turned it around in less than 3 weeks, with a verdict to replace the gimbal mounting bracket, which they quoted at 83 cents and then subtract those very same 83 cents to the bill for a grand total of.... "0" Euros!

(...that includes UPS to and from the Netherlands, out of Portugal...)

The Mavic/gimbal are working perfectly.

Now, this is what I call service! :p

On-wards to the much-deserved positive survey...

Compared to other horror stories I have read, this was indeed a good turn around
 
OP did you send it to the Netherlands?

USA still running 4-6 weeks depending on your location.

Melbourne Australia is still the fastest service center.

Sounds like good service to me.
Three weeks is a typical turn around time for most companies.

Did you get back the same mavic or did they replace it?
