Great Smoky Mountian National Park??

I am going to hike in the GSM in a couple weeks. I know I cant fly in the park but wondering if there is anywhere outside of the park that would make it worth taking the M2Z. I am going to be just outside Gatlinburg. Anyone with local knowledge?

There was a thread way down the line where folks were discussing this very thing. The consensus appeared to be that you can fly in the park as a hobbyist but not commercial.

I think the park is off limits. National Forest you can fly as hobby.
