I've had the chance to fly in Arizona recently for the first time! I was soooo tempted to make a 4 hour drive to the grand canyon...

Had to content myself with the Estrella Mountain Regional Park near Tempe. Coincidentally it was my first time in another State besides Florida!

From Tucson, drive up the Mt Lemon Highway; can park along the way and walk to fabulous vistas with amazing views and rock formations (above 5000 feet). Best late afternoons

I appreciate the suggestion but unfortunately I am not there anymore. Hopefully I'll have new opportunities in the future!
