I have been lurking for a couple of weeks waiting for the delivery of my new Mavic Mini Fly More. I'm official now - it arrived yesterday! ? Even though I read tons from this forum and watched hours of YouTube drone jocks on everything including first flight/pre-flight checklists, Fly App, wind warnings, crashing, RTH, firmware upgrades, compass & IMU calibration and so on, I still managed to crash 3 times - the first inside my house. In the end, there was no damage and the little drone did very well. I now have personal experience with a bit of wind and was cautious to keep it low and slow. Looking forward to many hours of flying over Long Island Sound and local salt marshes. Hopefully this summer, I'll have the ***** to take it out on the CT River and launch/retrieve from my boat.
