Harming birds

Adding propeller guards would add to the drone weight to make it over 250 grams and requiring registration.
Unless you fly into a flock of birds I don't think your flying a drone will increase their general risk of injury or death.
I always fly with the DJI prop guard on my Mini 2. That being said, I had to register it as over 250g. No big deal. The prop guard will repel larger birds, like sparrows, Mockingbirds or crows. Smaller birds fly low, and are experts at avoiding everything. I doubt they'll ever seek out a drone out of curiosity.

Okay, let me have it. It's several months later, but I wanted to say it. So sue me :)
