Has anybody ordered the Mavic 4 from Ebay? Shipped from Korea.

Has anybody on the forum ordered their Mavic 4 from Ebay and received it? I see the seller's location as Korea. So the drone is being shipped from Korea.

When it gets to customs in the US, does the buyer have to pay any additional fees?

Wish me luck. Ordered from Korea via Ebay. Standard RC2. If it actually arrives I'll see if I can get the pro controller. I know...I know...quite a gamble and no DJI coverage for warranty. I don't normally take this kind of a gamble but if it all goes tits up I'll live.

on day one was the time to buy on eBay but that deal is dead for the creator. It was the best deal by far being less than 4 grand including tax.

This is very true. That deal was the best. In fact, that seller had the best prices.

I wanted to buy the combo package, but I was a few hours late after posting this thread. It had 2 available when I posted this thread. I talked with one member on here who has ordered from the seller and has it here in the US. By the time I logged back on ebay to purchase, the seller was sold out of all drones.

That deal is definitely never coming back again.

$3,571.25 plus tax which comes out to be about $3,850 shipped to your address. You cannot find that deal anywhere. If I find that deal again now, I will buy it immediately.

I missed this deal and I am very sad about it. If I see that deal again I will buy it immediately.

When I posted this thread, that seller had 2 more available. If you and another guy had posted earlier on this my thread, I would have been a happy owner of one of the last 2 drones that the seller had for sale. Sadly, I missed the deal. Now prices are only going up.

That seller will not have any more stock at that same price. But I am watching every day. If it comes up, I will grab one.

The US sellers are selling the same package for $3,500 plus tax. It comes out to about $3,800 shipped. So $1,000 more than buying it from S.Korea. That is wild!

Got my creator combo for $4990 AUD which works to about $3240 USD
I think this is the first time we havent paid the higher end of the price range for DJI products

at least the Mavic 3 is still a decent drone and not such a loss if I loose one in the ocean as that's where I fly my drone over 90% of the time.

Currently, $4035 USD in Canada in BC, including all Canadian China tariffs and taxes. Sure beats the $4650 plus sales tax from B&H, if they ever get any!

Yeah, but the RC Pro 2 doesn't drown with the drone, and that is the best part of the Creator Combo— $1299 separately, and can also be used with the the Air 3, Air 3S, and Mini 4 Pro. Mavic 4 Pro drone, by itself, should it ever drown, is about the same price as the Mavic 3 Pro by itself.

we think the same! LOL... I was going to say the same thing. Oh I forgot to mention. I get deals on the Mavic 3 Pro. Less than one grand for the drone itself, no battery... used but in like new condition. Then good luck replacing your Mavic 4!

So if you can't send it in thru care refresh in the US, what is the point of buying that service? Just hoping that it will eventually be released in the US?

I would think if he lives in WA then it might be easy for him to send it in thru Care in Canada if that's where he bought Care from. Chances are you'll never need to use it.

Ahh, didn't see the state location, valid point.

Every drone I've ever purchased (air 2, mav 3, avata 2) I've also bought (and used) care refresh at least once on each. I push the limits when I'm filming. If I was able to purchase it for the Mav 4, I'd very likely do it.

That being said, I talked to my state farm agent and a personal articles policy for the Mav 4 (basically they cut you a check for 4 grand if anything happens - including theft or losing it in the river...which just happened to my Mav 3) only costs 60 bucks for the entire year. Which is a lot less money for more inclusive coverage. So no care refresh isn't a deal breaker for me. Honestly, I usually go with both care refresh and insurance during the first year of a new drone. Just to make sure all bases are covered...because I know that chances are very high that I will use one of the two.

we will just have to wait it out unless you want to pay up to one thousand dollars more on eBay than it was on day one. Covert Drones has some for $5400 I believe. (not on eBay but they are a USA DJI dealer)
