Has anybody ordered the Mavic 4 from Ebay? Shipped from Korea.

I am happy to report the Mavic 4 Pro arrived yesterday in what appears to be perfect condition. The box was undamaged and completely factory sealed. It arrived in less than 3 days after it was shipped. I have no clue what shipping practices they use in South Korea but we need to adopt them here. It takes me longer to receive items from Amazon most of the time.

I do have a question though. The power adapter is not the standard US type plug. It did come with an adapter in the box it was shipped in. Is that adapter safe to use? It is a small plastic adapter that looks like someone made it in their basement. Should I consider ordering the US style AC adapter instead of using the adapter it came with? Or am I perfectly fine with what the one they shipped?

You can get a replacement cord that’s just the section that goes from the box to the wall on Amazon for like $8.

I just received my Mavic 4 factory sealed from an eBay vendor in Japan, total with fees and expedited shipping was around $4k. It got held up in customs until I provided my importer ID (SSN) to FedEx but that was only a ~24 hour delay. Initially, the drone only wanted to connect in CE mode but after a series of firmware updates it's now connecting in FCC mode. Excited to try it out this weekend.

That adapter is just fine. The charger accepts either 110VAC or 220VAC, so it's just a matter of adapting the pin configuration from the Asian style plug to the US style. You may find that it takes quite a bit of force to fit the adapter to the plug. Just press onward.

Happy Friday! Please welcome our friends from Japan and UPS to the world of DJI Mavic 4 Pro drone shipped from Asia to the US. Formerly dominated by South Korea and FedEx there seems to be a recent surge ahead of the end of the month uncertainty and the possible change in pricing (which is still relatively cheap). We are happy to have additional suppliers and carriers join the team matching American customers with DJI flagship drones; we appreciate the partnership. :)

Just in time for the weekend, I continue to receive "exclusive photos" from folks in Anchorage airport and here's the latest shipments of drone bound for the states. As you can see the cargo is "appropriately labeled" for easy passage and the customs agents are "specialized" to work with this specific cargo and help "speed it along" nicely. 😊

Now is the time to place your order and let's hope the Mini 5 Pro gravy train continues. I had a bunch of images but these are my top 6 captured during the week, credit to my AI friends. Here are your drones on the way! ;)

The adapter will work fine. I bought a US cord on Amazon just to eliminate the extra connection. It is a IEC320 C7 to NEMA 1-15P cord.
