Has Anyone Seen Postings On Performance Differences Between Mini 4P Battery In A Mini 5P?

My searching has failed to find any testings comparing the performance such as top forward and acceleration speeds when using 4P batteries in the 5P?

One notable crash reported due to insufficient voltage leading to power loss and shutdown midflight. DJI now strongly recommends against using anything other than M5P batteries in the M5P.

Check with DJI. After the crash, which they covered, they now no longer claim compatibility and recommend against using any other batteries. The voltages are different. Use at your own risk. Success is not crashing. Failure is usually fatal. Like playing Russian Roulette?

I have a dust-collector I call my mini 4 pro. Haven't used it in abt a month's time since I picked up my mini 5 pro. Surprised that the m4p battery fit in the newer m5p, so started using it. I am a longtime still photographer with cameras, now using the m5p for the same purpose but at higher perspectives for a new angle.
I don't fly fast, nor fly crazy trick speedy maneuvers. 99% of my drone flights are to go high, move left/right slowly, snap the pix, then carefully return and land. My subjects are abandoned structures, lighthouses, public buildings, scenics, Nature, and clouds and sunsets. NO problem with the m4p batteries in my m5pro

Just be aware that the possibility exists that the voltage differences can cause unpredictable and unexpected problems. Kind of like driving drunk. Most arrested drunk drivers on average have "successfully" driven drunk 500 times before being caught, and merely being arrested without a crash, injury, or fatality is the luckiest result.

Concur. Be wary. Use batteries specifically rated for specific kit... It might fit in the battery bay... it might boot your drone up... but it might cut out mid-flight as well.

You don't have to be in 'sport' mode for the motors to have to draw a lot more power (strong wind gusts/head winds etc.)
