Has anyone tried the 7" Lumenier 1000cd/m² Panel FPV Monitor

Just found out about the 7" Lumenier 1000cd/m² Panel FPV Monitor w/ 5.8GHz 39CH Diversity Rx, Battery, DVR."
Notice it has the same brightness as the DJI 5.5" CrystalSky, and sells for far less ($279.)
I understand that DJI uses their own (and very good) transmission protocols, etc., but if there is a way to make this work like the CrystalSky I'd like to hear about it! And yes, it has HDMI and all, but could one see more than just the flight image on this monitor?

It's just a monitor with a HDMI input. You would still have to use some other device such as an Ipad or android. The problem is you would have to see the Ipad screen to change settings and the likes. Now you would have to carry 2 monitors

The only device I know of that has an HDMI port is the NVIDIA SHIELD K1 8" Tablet. But the brigtness is just around 400+ nits. I was hoping the brightness was much better than it is.

I think you're right, that's the only way I can think of using a monitor like that with a Mavic.
