OK, what is the altitude limit inflicted by Mavic hardware or software?
Mine seem to have none other than "...ok, punk, do you feel lucky"

Max altitude limit, as well as altitude indication are above takeoff point, so is the RTH altitude. RTH will only fly up to reach the preset RTH altitude, it won't descend to it.

RTH might be a issue. The GPS system too. Max altitude is based on sea level. Take off at top of Everest is theoretically imposible as it exceeds ceiling.

The air density at top of Everest is .35 of sea level. Prepare for an uncontrollable glide
until it starts to bite.
