Have been mulling over getting a Mavic Air for a wee while now, ( the pro I felt was a leap too far and not compact enough for this beginner). Have watched tens of hours of videos on all things Mavic before taking the leap. So today arrived my Mavic Air Fly more pack and just trying to work out how everything plugs in to get it charged and ready. Not disappointed with the build quality, it's beautifully designed I must say.
My interests are Fly fishing and filming around this, Photography and I have a trip to the US in a few weeks so want to be ready in time for that but happy to take my time and learn things right and not run before I can walk.
I am in Stirling in Scotland.
I will likely lurk around and see what information I can find, rather than just asking all the obvious questions. Cheers

You will love your Mavic Air. Congratulations. I have a Mavic Pro, but 2 friends bought Mavic Airs as their first drones and love them. Enjoy your trip to the US and should you get to the southwest let me know. 20 years ago I worked in the UK for four years and really enjoyed my time over there.

Cheers. The plan is staying more towards the east on this occasion. Washington DC- then road trip down the Blue Ridge direction, then likely Georgia and Florida before flying to Mexico for a few days and then home. Looking forward to it and trying to stay off the beaten track.
