Greetings, new owner of Mavic Mini. Just literally flown my mini indoor as outside weather is not conducive. If flies beautifully and very stable. I have to activate payload mode as Im using the prop-guards on. I have been a rc Heli model pilot since 2008. This model was purchased mainly for aerial photos/videos on holidays. hi did anyone take you up on your offer for the MM in argos i wonder have a great holiday and get to know your drone if you can fly helis ,,then a drone should be an easy step just remember to try C mode to get smooth shots and go easy on those sticks your not flying 3D its a camera drone,

I have no idea if anybody took it. I could fly stick banging on my helis but on the mavic. I fly it smooth. I found P mode to be a bit tad fast on the sticks. C mode is perfect, like adding expo on each channel. S mode is for bail out mode, against wind and fly lower. Since the controller is basic compared to my Futaba 14channel radio, I could not customize the direction of the tail. I fly tail, on all my helis and foamies. I mean is when I apply left on the rudder with the mavic on tail in, the tail goes right.[emoji29] I learned that when I apply left, the direction of the tail goes left. Well, I guess I have to relearn my orientation skill on the mavic. Good thing I fly it nice and slow, so I have plenty of time to correct the tail.

yes the old muscle memory kicks in im afraid, you will have to be careful when you go back to your helis, and forget things happen much faster flying them
