Hi everyone!

I've just upgraded to a Mavic 2 Zoom, and I thought I'd come and say 'hi' on this forum as well. I got into drone flying about a year and a half ago when I bought a Spark as an expensive toy. I quickly realised I love filming landscapes and really got into the hobby.

I've had a chance to use a variety of drones since then: not only my li'l Hoverbee (that's the Spark's name), but also a Phantom Pro 3 and a Mavic Pro. I get to use lots of different drones because I'm a lecturer, and my university owns quite a few (one of these days I'll get my grubby hands on that Inspire, I swear...). I even teach students the basics of flying drones using the bomb-proof Phantom- I've heard the phrase 'Uh, Professor, I lost the drone...' quite a few times!

I also seem to be one of the very rare female drone pilots. Any more propeller-mediated girl power out there? :)

I've loved flying the Mavic 2 so far- it's so solid and reliable! I'm looking forward to picking up tips and hints on flying it better!

Welcome to the forum! :)
