I'm already a member of the Phantom Forum, but having just bought a Mavic Mini because of its portability I've joined here as well. I only took delivery a couple of hours ago, but when I get a chance to take it out I'll post a video of the area where I live.

Thank you. I see that you live not so very far from where I used to live. I lived in Clevedon, North Somerset, where I could see Wales across the Bristol Channel.

The Mini, at only 249 grams, doesn't handle wind as well as the heavier drones do. On windy days it's best to fly the Mini so that you have a tail wind on the way back. Read your manual, and practice using "Find My Drone". Chances are you'll crash and perhaps lose your drone. Don't wait 'til that happens to try to learn under less than ideal conditions.
