Hi from NorCal! I've been a "Mavic Pilot" for ~2 weeks now, and loving it!

Nothing too adventurous yet! Just filming the kids and some fantastic natural scenery, and learning a lot!

Thanks all for the warm welcome!
We are in Santa Clara County, but not the usual Silicon Valley area.

We happen to be surrounded by vineyards where we live, so definitely on my to-do list!
I've never done any videography, so I'm doing a lot of firsts... I'll post my first ever Mavic Video in the not too distant future.

Also new from NorCal, so I guess I'll use your thread to check in. Napa here. Had my Mavic for about a month. Dabbled with a Phantom 2 a couple years ago.

Passed my Remote Pilot Knowledge Test yesterday, though I took it for work. No immediate plans to go out and get any side gigs.
