Hello from Shetland

Just want to say hello to all fellow Mavic pilots having just become the owner of a new Mavic Air. I bought my first drone about a month ago which was a Parrot Bebop 2 FPV pack and quite a few extras and all was great I thought. I flew it and was impressed how easy it was to fly and everything worked as it should but I felt the resolution of the images and fisheye effect were not to my satisfaction. Result is I ended up buying the Mavic Air Fly More Combo pack beginning of this week and am now 100% satisfied with everything so an expensive lesson learned as I now have to get the Bebop 2 sold. I should have went for the Air initially. I must say the Bebop 2 is still a great drone but my personal preference is for the `Mavic Air.

I would but I need to keep the wife happy. Besides if I sell it I can always upgrade in the future and keep the Air for fun. I would have liked to try out the FPV goggles with the Bebop 2 though as they are meant to be really good.

I just got the drone and have just ordered the goggles I can see how it would be fun with a Bebop.

Yeah, the Bebop is quite responsive but I think the Air is even more responsive going by the way it performed in the very limited time I have had it out. Roll on the better weather.

I couldn't get out at all this weekend it was lashing down rain, it's not looking good for the week either maybe Thursday might be ok. I don't think the goggles will come until the week after though.
