As a veteran as I go about my day people are always telling me "thank you for your service". Well, Sir....As a person who has had many a friends BUTT saved by Cal Fire let me express my THANKS to you!!!!
OH and a question.. HOW ON EARTH does a civilian get into the classes that are given to your search and rescue Drone guys?? or is it just impossible. I don't mind just "fetching water" but it would be nice to be able to FLY and actually help.

Greetings from Birmingham Alabama USA, welcome to the forum! We look forward to hearing from you!

Boy, you sure must be bored with so few hobbies… L o L . . .

Below is the link to all of the downloads offered by DJI for the Mavic Air 3S, including the User Manual.

After you read the Manual, read it again, you will be surprised what you missed the first time and you will be better prepared for that first "scary moment…"

Fly Safe…

Thanks for the welcome buddy! As far as Search and Rescue, and “Fire” stuff. CAL FIRE uses US Forest Service guidelines and training. There are a lot of online courses. But the main course A-450 Basic Remote Pilot is very hard to get and expensive 😣.

Thanks for that
I have tried a few things and talked with a few people, No way to fly unless you are employed by the Government..I found info on the test but from what I can gather its pretty much invitation only. lol................Back to fetching water..! lol
