Hey everyone thanks for the add. I just picked up a new Mavic Pro Platinum. I will need to pick up an iPad soon. I will be searching all the posts so I can get as much info as need to help me with my new bird. My first bird was a small cheap one so I could make sure I could fly one. I had RC Helo's for years and this is a blast.

Thanks for the welcome. I have to so a firmware update and I'm staying here at my brothers house in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas and the internet is lagging really bad. I may have to drive an hour away to the city to find a good wifi. My android phone worked one time. My first flight was just checking the remote control and seeing how my phone worked on it. It did ok but now I'm trying to get the firmware update so I can get in some good flight time and get some great pics and video.

Thanks FDS, and just to let you know I am a disabled Army Vet and I am working on an increase on my VA disability and as soon as I get it I will be moving back to Florida! I miss the salt lol. I will be looking for a place north of Tampa in the Brooksville Spring Hill Area.

Hey that's not that far south of where I will be. Well Brooksville Spring Hill area is where I'm looking at that is not set in stone per say lol. I miss the Salt Life! My saltwater tackle is begging for some action!!!
