I also have a Mini 2 and I think it's great. I am sorry that your baby took off. Keep looking for it and do not follow the same path. Take different routes about the trees. Do it early, at high noon, and in the late afternoon. The different positions of the sun may help or hinder you seeing it. Even offer friends and relatives a pint to go look for it. Sometimes, a fresh set of eyes sees what yours missed.
