Help interpreting Swedish nature restriction map.

I'm looking for help from anyone in Sweden.

I'm planning a trip to Gotland soon and would love to bring my Air 3S drone.

As I always try to follow local regulations, I came across some information about restricted areas.

Could anyone help me understand what these zones mean? Do all of them require special authorization to fly in?

Hi, did you used the "Drönarkartan" (Drone chart)? There you can see restricted areas in Sweden.

Yes. I checked that one, too. But that one is easy to interpret. It is a standard Restricted Airspace chart...and it has a version in English.

I usually have these 4 categories checked on that map... these areas together with the restrictions from the "Drönarkartan" makes it hard to fly in the most interesting areas on Gotland... usually I don't bother to bring a drone there.

And in these times with the war in Ukraine & Sweden entering NATO... peoples awareness of drones have increased, & the police is only a phone call away, & you have to explain why you're flying even if it's legal. (This especially on Gotland which mainly are one big military installation.)

I don’t shoot any video with the drone when traveling to these kinds of locations. I only use it to gain more interesting vantage points over visually compelling subjects.

This means the drone flies for a very short time on each flight, and I am always clearly and directly identifiable as the operator.

Still, I will take your cautionary input under advisement.

It will be carefully weighed alongside the downside of carrying additional weight in an already full photography backpack.
