Help! Moverio BT-300 charging

I have lost my charger for my BT-300 and my brother is traveling 400 miles to check out the photography possibilities of the M2P. Can a normal cell phone charger with USB be used to charge the controller. I've got the cable just not the part that plug into the wall. Thanks.
