So I’m in the South Pacific in some of the most spectacular island scenery, which is unfortunately associated with salt water. I had a small splash of ocean water hit me, which I didn’t think touched my Mavic Pro until I tried to take off and got sensor positioning sensor errors. I looked at the bottom and noticed water on the bottom lenses and sonar sensors. I brushed off the water. When I tried starting again, all connected well, but after a minute or so I started getting errors, then the controller disconnected. Now when I try to start up, the controller will not connect and the indicator light flashes rapid yellow. When I double press the battery button to shut down, the four battery lights go off, then the number four light comes on blinking and the drone does not shut off. I can eventually shut off completely by continuing to hold down the battery button. Clearly some water made it inside. Anyone have suggestions? Trying to load Assistant on my laptop, but I’m lucky if I can ever get useable internet. Soak the Mavic in carbon tetrachloride and let it dry out? Hoping there’s some cure other than waiting til I get home from vacation in a few weeks and ship it off to DJI. Thanks!
