HELP!

Greetings!
Hello, I’m a new member...
I bought my dji mavic air last week in visions electronics. My first time to own a drone. My problem is I live in Winnipeg, MB Inkster Boulevard near McPhillips St. A NO FLY ZONE! where can I legally fly my mavic air in Winnipeg? What do I have to do before flying this drone? Where can I can register this and do we have to have a license or permit before we can fly our drone? I’m really new on this and I can’t fly my drone yet due to scary fine that’s so expensive than a speeding tickets or might get imprison for the violations.
Pls help! I’m really itching to fly my mavic air legally.

Thanks! I didn’t expect that there’s a lot of rules before you can fly your drone. My fault.. I should’ve search and know thiese rules first before buying a drone. Too late.. I think I cannot return dji mavic air in store for that reason.

That is most unfortunate. Is it possible for you to drive out of town to use your drone??

Yes it’s possible every Saturday it’s my day-off but the problem is where? Maybe the owner of the farm or the area might not allow me. sigh!

Normally get about 30 days to return items don't you?

Hi Jessie. Don't return it yet. Getting an airspace authorization from the FAA is pretty simple. You do need to register your drone with them..but it's an online form submission. There are also block altitudes that the FAA has granted for quick approvals. You can find them here: ArcGIS Web Application

FAA authorization is not going to help much in Canada.

Yes that’s true. But once you opened it you can’t return it according to visions electronics that’s dji rules and I already opened it. Same thing in best buy.
