new owner here, only been looking at your site a day or so and I can see it’s a treasure trove of great info.
Wish I’d have stumbled onto this a few days ago.
Had a close cal in losing my Mavic Air.
Made a few newb mistakes doing a distance test.
1. Flew without a full battery-Check
2. Was in sport mode-Check
3. Didn’t account for high winds for low battery RTH-Check

I’ll need to adjust RTH to take straight path back and fly smarter
It was a successful emergency landing when losing vid on decent.
Recovered unit as well.

I’ve got some learning to do!
