Welcome Hawkeye! Flew over Alkimos beach and Yanchep Lagoon last weekend! Burns Beach is my local spot!

Just been down to Pemberton and Walpole for some droning. Great stuff. Can recommend it. Today Iluka .. MM problems and telling me I need to pair with RC. Tried that .. wouldn't work. Long story short .. reboots, changed from mini iPad to iPhone .. still not pairing. Turns out I could fly/start everything normally IF the micro SD CARD was REMOVED and slot empty. . Soon as I put it back in ....connection kaput between MM and RC. Interesting lesson. Hint: Always carry a spare micro SD card. Now will search forums for others experience with same card problem. Tomorrow will test if MM can format cards normally. I know it will recognise other cards I have. Cheers Merv F.
