Hi from Perth

One question is where to find a good source of royalty free music as I use Final Cut Pro and I'd like to put clips to music rather than the limited 'jingles' I find in FCP.
I have a friend In Adelaide and he hooked me up with "AI Music" here is a previous posting I made…

If you want to talk to Gordon directly, contact him through his YouTube channel. You can tell him that I (LoudThunder) referred you…

PS: I do not get a "bird-dog fee" and Gordon's channel is not monetized, he does it for fun…

Here are two videos that I just created recently using the AI Music and if you do not want a song but just the music, it will do that too…

Well I'm enjoying both my drones. I have had a busy week but not with drones. Today I decided to do panoramas using the Mini 4K to start with. It didn't go as planned. I had trouble working out how to exit from the screen and I was using the controller and iPhone 16 Pro Max. I didn't even know that there was such a thing as a spherical panorama.

DJI are just so good to deal with when you have a problem or need help.

The short story is it worked out fine and I took some nice shots down our park. I spent much more time on the computer than flying the drone but that is fine as it is a learning curve.

The park where I took the pano is about 600m I think from home. I launched the drone in my driveway.

Now that you have discovered the 360° Photosphere or as DJI calls them, a "Globe", now you need to figure what to do with them… You can load the "Go Pro VR Player" on your PC and see what they really look like, it's amazing…

I publish mine on Google maps and Google Earth for all the world to see…
Here is one I shot yesterday and Published this morning… Once they are on the Map, you can scroll all around and even zoom in...

and here is one I shot a week or so ago…

and Here is a video I made of that flight…

Now go forth and discover all the wonderful things there are to do…

Below is the link to all of the downloads offered by DJI for the Mini 4 Pro, including the User Manual.

After you read the Manual, read it again, you will be surprised what you missed the first time and you will be better prepared for that first "scary moment…"

I started a few weeks back with a DJI Mini 4K...

I now have the Mavic 4 Pro. I am self-employed and have an I.T. Business so some aspects have been very easy for me but I still have a lot to learn about the Mavic, Drones and production using Final Cut Pro.

I was going to get either the Air 3S or this but the Mavic camera and power was just a bit too tempting. I got it this week and have already done a number of flights. It is magic.

I have a PPL from years ago and flew gliders and I also love photography and have a Canon 5D3 on my desk at the moment. I must admit the iPhone is so easy to use though and is the camera you have in your pocket. The iPhone doesn't have wings and neither does the Canon but the Mavic does...I can see advantages.

Perth is a very windy city and the Mini 4K when you fly it...all too often you get wind alerts. I know it is still safe to fly by going into wind and then flying home downwind but I definitely want something with more speed and power from a practical point of view.

The Mini 4K is very impressive although the other issue was connection stability and range which is somewhat limiting although the range is still very useful.

Now my Mavic learning begins!
Perth! I'm jealous. What a beautiful and picturesque city. I've done remote work with a chap in Harrisdale, WA. Someday, I hope to visit your lovely continent.
