I’m a newbie in Scotland too, and got a 2nd hand Mavic Pro for wildlife photography. You’ll laugh at my newbie gaff, a few weeks ago some dolphins came in really close to the shore and I was seeing fabulous images of them on the screen, 5 adults and 3 calves looking like something from a wildlife documentary. I rushed home and tore the SD card out and ... nothing! I’d forgotten to press record!

Oh dear. I can only imagine your disappointment. Good tip though. I'll try to remember to hit record. Still practicing flying just now. Wish it wasn't dark when I get home.
