Hi from southern Oregon

First time drone owner here, Mavic pro platinum. I've been able to fly thru 3-4 batteries so far but the rain keeps it on the shelf most of the time. I'll be using it primarily from a boat (28' defiance pilot house), I know, I know I've read and understand the risks. Luckily my friend on the boat is a State Farm agent and it will fly only on the best of days. I've been focusing on hand launch and retrieving.
We offshore fish for albacore all summer and an aerial view would be a huge game changer not to mention awesome footage! First trip will be remote Vancouver island trip for salmon in early July. Love the forum, been lurking and learning...
