Hi all. Bought my first DJI drone yesterday. It’s a Mavic Air and I have to say WOW. Compared to my old Parrot Bebop (yes I know) it’s like the difference between the Wright Flyer and a 787. The quality alone had me drooling. Bad weather (windy) here has prevented me doing much so far, but I’ve played indoors and it’s so responsive and stable it’s a dream. Looking forward to hours of creative flying.

Welcome to you from the friendly skies of Texas!

The MA2 is a fabulous machine for the beginner and the pro alike.

We visited Oxford a few years ago, and were amazed by the antiquity--"New" College was founded in 1379!
Lots of fellow Brits will help you adjust to CAA regs, and over 100,000 others of us from around the world are here to help you gain skill as a pilot and photographer.

Be sure to download and read the manual, and practice using the “Find My Drone” App. Chances are you will crash and perhaps lose your MA2. Just be sure you know how to retrieve it! You might consider hacking the FAA mode. It'll give you greater signal strength, and lessen the chance of lost connections.

Glad to have you with us!
