...if you don’t like flying very far out, that is. ;)

This area west-northwest of San Ysidro, New Mexico (taken this past summer) is a great place to find out just how far I can fly my Mavic Pro Platinum and still have at least three bars video signal. I’ve managed to go out over three miles on at least three occasions, with two-mile distances so routine as to be almost boring. :D Gotta love that OccuSync! ThumbswayupThumbswayup

Agreed. I took mine out on the Hudson river and just flew straight up river to see how far my signal could reach. The MPP came back from battery drain long before my signal strength started waning...over 3.5 miles into a slight wind when it asked to come home.
 
how many spotters did you employ to fly that distance
